Bread and Rolls are baked daily using only the finest ingredients. Our selection varies each day and includes:

Multi-Grain Bread - includes: barley, corn, millet, oats, rye, rice, soy, and flax - scaled 800 grams and topped off with the grains involved - and baked on the hearth - $4.95

Whole Wheat Bread - made with organic whole wheat, we either bake it in the pan or on the hearth. We leave it plain or top it off with tasty sesame seeds or poppy seeds - $4.25

Pain au Levain - a French country slightly sourdough style bread with bran flakes baked on the hearth - $4.25

Sunflower Whole Wheat - made with organic whole wheat and filled with tasty sunflower seeds and then topped with sunflower seeds as well - $4.95

Pumpkin Seeds Whole Wheat - made with organic wheat and filled with pumpkin seeds. We top it off with sunflower seeds, and it is delicious with a slice of cheese - $4.95

Flaxseed Whole Wheat - made with organic whole wheat flour and ground flaxseed, topped off with whole flaxseed and baked on the hearth for an even more "healthy" bread - $4.95

Sourdough - made from organic wheat, this bread has a magnificent taste and flavor. It is, of course, baked on the hearth and is not the San Francisco-style sour, but a lot more adorable (less tangy and more flavorful) for people like you and me - $4.25

French Batard - This loaf is always baked on the hearth and is a close relative of the baguette but it has bigger slices and less crust - $3.60

Sourdough Variations - We make our base sourdough starter and variations of other sourdough bread, such as: whole wheat sourdough, whole wheat sourdough with raisins, whole wheat sourdough with raisins and dried apricots, garlic chese, sun-dried tomato and basil, olive sourdough and jalapeno/cheese sourdough. French Baguette - With a taste like it was flown directly from France with a hint of sourdough or polish to give it the distintive flavor typical of a baguette. this is also baked on the hearth of the oven. We will not seIl our baguette the next day since we believe that every baguette should be consumed fresh. We make baguettes every day, and to make sure you will get one on the day you want, we advise you to place your order by phone (246-9992). A Utopia baguette is a great buy at only $2.75

Victorian Milk - This very flavorful milk bread is excellent for toast and delicious with jam, cheese, meat, you name it. We bake it on the hearth and also in a pan for customers who prefer a more square sandwich. We decorate some of the loaves with sesame or poppy
seeds - $3.60

Italian Country Bread - This bread is baked on the hearth, and since it is an Italian style bread, it has a thicker crust. We put olive oil in the dough as the only fat, and it is also low in additional sugar. Very tasty in combination with Italian cheese- $4.25

Mischbrot - A German style loaf that contains 70% rye and 30% wheat, and baked on the hearth. We make it with or without caraway
seeds - $4.95

New York Rye - A Jewish style bread with 70% wheat and 30% ray meal. Baked on the hearth and featuring that "distinctive" rye flavor without the bitterness associated with Rye - $4.25

Brewers Bread - A loaf with a mix of rye and wheat (25/75), and made with a Dutch lager (Heineken, naturally), instead of water. A very nice flavored bread perfectly served with dinner or as a sandwich - $4.95

Kaiser Rolls - We got this formula from a baker in Passau (Germany) and we make them every Friday and Saturday- $0.50 each
